Deputy Assessor, Pulaski County Government

Purpose of Position
Under the supervision of the Pulaski County Assessor, the deputy is responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of the efficient operation of the Assessor’s office including, but not limited to, accurately calculating and maintaining records of the assessed values on real and personal property for taxing purposes. Also, works with Sales Disclosures and tax abatements. See the full list of responsibilities here.

This is a full-time position. Please note: Level I must be obtained through the Department of Local Government Finance within first year of employment. Level II must be attained within the first eighteen months of employment. The approved 2022 wage for this position is $17.83/hour, or $32,468/year. The proposed, but not yet approved wage for 2023 is $18.73/hour, or $34,091/year. Level II certification, once obtained, comes with an additional hourly stipend.
