The Pulaski County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for the role of Emergency Medical Services (E.M.S.) director.
The E.M.S. director works approximately 58 hours per week on average; the 2024 wage for the position is $23.79/hour ($35.69/hour overtime), for an approximate annual compensation of $82,890.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for:
Management and administration of the Pulaski County Emergency Medical Services.
Serve as representative at local, regional and state meetings.
Serve as a member of the staff and is responsible for daily coverage, emergency responses and call coverage.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general supervision of the Pulaski County Commissioners
Reports to and functions under the medical director of the emergency department and within the requirements set by the Supervisory Hospital (Pulaski Memorial Hospital)
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Directly supervises all EMS operations and staff
